A Year of Home Updates 2025

I did a lot in the first half of the year but slowed down as the year progressed. I am now pretty much done with my apartment. There is still some room for improvement
Living Room
- Get rid of rug (looking for new one)
- Get rid of console table and replace with ladder shelf
- Add Kallax next to entertainment console
- Add art on wall near/above TV
- Change dresser for fireplace TV console
- Finish beer sign wall
- Replace couch
- Add vinyl shelves above couch and take down gallery wall
- Install felt board squares on soffit
- Get Tiffany Uplighter Lamp
- Get Green Banker’s Lamp
- Showcase polaroids under bubble mirror
- Get more stained glass to hang
- Get rid of couch side table and replace with console table
Bathroom
- Add more fragrance to shelf
- Get new bath mat
- Get new soap (Plum Berry)
- Add feminine product jar
- Add towel ring back to bathroom
Kitchen
- Add frames to kitchen art
- Rearrange shelves and add jars
- Add wall mounted dish scrubber holder
- Get rid of rice dispenser
- Wine bottle rack under kitchen shelving
- Add calendar to front of fridge and rearrange pictures
- This was done in part to free up space near my coat closet so I could hang the entryway shelf and mirror.
- I also wanted to have more things on my fridge to make it feel more lively and personal.

- More liquor shelf art
- Add magnetic pen holder to fridge
- Add kitchen rail and mug hooks to kitchen floating shelf
Bedroom
- Added fairy lights underneath bed
- Get rid of couch underneath loft (to prep for futon/bean bag chair lounge space)
- Add record table next to TOGO couch
- Add laundry basket
- Add track shelving
- Moved mirror next to dresser and moved Kallaxes next to Togo couch then removed Kallaxes later
- Move dresser into room and remove freestanding display shelf
- Add over the door jacket hooks on closet door
- Add couch underneath loft and Move papasan
- Get rid of nightstand and side table
- Move trinket shelf from living room
- Add bench as coffee table for conversion pit
- remove bench for ottoman
- Remove cork board
Dining Room
- Move craft cart in front of bookshelves
- Add tablecloth to table
- Replace table and chairs with Ikea
- Add cushions to breakfast bar chairs
- Add rice paper lamp above dining table
- Replace 5-Head Lamp with new Tiffany Lamp next to breakfast bar
- Rearranged books on shelves
